There isn't really one answer to this. I mean, when ever kinetic energy of an object results in friction with another object, heat is released. Whenever a chemical reaction occurs, heat is released. Whenever photons (light) carrying a certain quantum packet of energy collide with an object, the energy transference results in heat. Electricity can cause fires, so obviously there's heat involved. Sonic energy, nuclear energy, electromagnetic energy, electrochemical energy, really ALL forms of energy can be, and often are converted into thermal energy.
Thermal energy can be converted into alot of things just go find out what it is.
Most of it will be converted to heat, via friction.
Yes. When ice is converted to water, thermal energy is required. When the water is converted back to ice, the same amount of thermal energy is released.
Until converted, it is potential energy. However, to make nuclear energy domestically useful it is converted into thermal (thermodynamic) energy (heat), which, in turn, is converted into electrical energy, both of which are kinetic energy.
Any time one form of energy is converted into another form . Some of the original energy always gets converted into thermal energy
rubbing handsMechanical energy converted to thermal energy
what is thermal energy converted into work called
Various kinds of energy may be converted into thermal energy. In a fire it is chemical energy that is converted to thermal energy. However:In a nuclear reactor, nuclear energy is first converted to thermal energy, and eventually to electrical energy. In a fire chemical energy is also converted to light energy. In a battery chemical energy is converted to electrical energy. In braking systems kinetic energy is converted to thermal energy.

Chemical energy is being converted to thermal energy which is then converted to mechanical energy and finally to kinetic energy which moves the car. Kinetic energy is then converted to thermal energy in the brakes to stop the car.
