There is no lash adjustment on Pontiac engines. You simply torque the nuts down to 20 foot lbs.

all pontiac engines were blueish green, never ever remember seeing any red engines, someone must have repainted it.

The Pontiac 2.4 liter engine, is not and interference engine. The Pontiac interference engines are all larger than 3.0 liters.

the starter on all Pontiac 326-455 engines are on the drivers side of the engine.
Pontiac had no big blocks. all Pontiac engines are the same size externally (except the 301, it was a little smaller.)
