It's what keeps galaxies together, what keeps the Earth orbiting the Sun, and what holds us to the planet. On a large scale, astronomers can detect motion in stars and galaxies due to parallax shifts and Doppler effects. You will also occasionally hear of exploding stars, some of which can be seen with the naked eye.

On a smaller scale, planets and comets and asteroids rotate. Occasionally something crashes into Earth and makes a crater.

Down to the scale of the Earth, there are volcanoes, earthquakes and tectonic drift.

The red shift of light from stars. A red shift indicates that the source is moving away from us. Moreover, the further away the source (usually star) is, the greater is the red shift - indicating that it is receding from us at a greater speed.

One possible explanation for this is that all these stars know how toxic the human race is and are have been trying to escape from us. The further the star, the longer they have been accelerating away from us. However, this would not explain astronomical objects which started receding before the solar system was formed.

A less anthropomorphic explanation is that the universe is expanding so that every object is moving away from every other object.
