magnaflow is better performance and flowmater is better sound
I like flowmaster 3" with super 44 mufflers.
dont put an exhaust on a v6 it sounds fine stock if you wanted it to sound good you should have gotten the v8
I have a flowmaster, it sounds great I have a flowmaster, it sounds great
the loudest would be the flowmaster outlaw series. its just a straight through muffler with no ceramic glass packing. i have one on my f-150 it sounds way good
Yes...i have an 07 cobalt special edition supercharged and my friend stabbed holes into my muffler without me knowning...but i am somewhat happy because it does make the car sounds much louder and it sounds like i have an expensive exhaust system on it...but i recommend getting an exhaust system Yes...i have an 07 cobalt special edition supercharged and my friend stabbed holes into my muffler without me knowning...but i am somewhat happy because it does make the car sounds much louder and it sounds like i have an expensive exhaust system on it...but i recommend getting an exhaust system
Make what sound louder? Your engine? Fit a different exhaust system. with a bigger bore.
40 series
Performance exhausts are usually custom bent and made by most exhaust shops.I have a 1987 olds cutlass and have used the Iroc Z design from the converter back .the muffler is an 80 series Flowmaster .It sounds really nice and it definitely helps the performance.Check in the yellow pages for people who custom bend their exhaust. As far as dual exhaust goes , the flowmaster is a single in and dual out sytle which keeps me emissions legal and gives the appearance of duals as well as the sound also.
Sounds are louder when they are closer, because the sound is closer to your ears.
No, louder sounds do not travel faster than quieter sounds. Sound travels at the same speed regardless of its volume.
The exhaust system is falling apart probably from rust, have it checked soon, you don't want fumes getting into the car.
Sounds can be louder at night compared to during the day due to lower levels of ambient noise and less sound interference, allowing sounds to travel further and be perceived as louder.
