Since that time, all incumbent First Ladies have served as the Honorary President of the USA.

Lou Henry Hoover was President of GSUSA for two terms, 1922-1925 and 1935-1937. She was also the Chairman of the National Board of Directors of GSUSA for 1925-1928.
Starting with Lou Henry Hoover, the First Lady has served as the Honorary President of GSUSA.
