In January of 2005, the Military Channel probably replaced the Discovery Wings Channel because not a whole lot of people were watching the shows about building airplanes and recreational events like AirVenture (which i believe is the coolest thing that ever happened). I used to watch that channel Every Day when i was a child. I guess there are more supporters of the military than aviation in general (nothing wrong with that). I still watch it only when there's a show about planes or WW2 airbattles.
It's an altered version of the font 'Akbar'
The "H" was custom designed for the network. That's true but the font I used as a basis is Birch. logosam@earthlink.net

The font that is used in the NCAA logo is called Aquarius No. 8. This font is one that has to be purchased, and does not come pre-installed as a font. This font closely resembles that font that is used on the Twitter website.
Christopher Walker (me), a Washington, DC-based voice actor (voiceofwalker.com), narrated this originally for Discovery Times channel in 2007. It's possible there are versions by other narrators that were used in other markets or versions. Thanks!
