There are lesser black backed gulls nesting on the roof where I work in Belfast - they nest here every year. Parents are feeding them what looks like regurgitated fish and scraps that they find around the town. I have been throwing sardines in sunflower oil and cod roe (removed from tins obviously) which the chicks love, they are now huge and about 2-3 weeks old.
