Gravity pulls objects towards each other.
Gravity is a force that accelerates the falling object towards the ground.
Because of force
Nothing is opposing an object falling to earth. Gravity is causing an object to fall back to earth which is opposing the object from leaving earht. If anything the force that opposes gravity is the force at which an object is projected.
Gravitational Force
If the object is outside the earth's atmosphere, there is no force pushing up on it. If it is inside the earth's atmosphere, then air drag is pushing up on it.
Weight is the force acting downwards towards the earth. The mass of the object with always remain constant while the weight varies according to the gravitational pull towards the earth. In this case, the gravitational pull towards earth is 9.8m/s^2. Weight is given by mass of the object times gravity. W=mg The normal reaction force is the force acting against the weight. It is what keeps you standing on the earth rather then just falling straight down through the earth's crust.
if its falling it will hit whats pulling it example of indefinitely falling is object in stable orbit ie moon around earth
Yes. They accelerate (change the direction of their movement) towards Earth, and this may be labelled as "falling".Yes. Gravity.
gravity
Gravity is the reason of things falling down. It is the force exerted by earth,which attract things towards the centre of earth.
F = m aa = F/m = 100/20 = 5 meters per second2 .
