Amber is not a mineral but time-hardened fossilized resin of different trees, which grew in forests from 20 to 345 million years ago in different parts of the world.

Amber is heterogeneous in composition, but consists of several resinous bodies more or less soluble in alcohol, ether and chloroform, associated with an insoluble bituminous substance. Amber is a macromolecule by free radical polymerization of several precursors in the labdane family, e.g. communic acid, cummunol, and biformene.[13] These labdanes are diterpenes (C20H32) and trienes, equipping the organic skeleton with three alkenegroups for polymerization. As amber matures over the years, more polymerization takes place as well as isomerization reactions, crosslinking andcyclization.

The average composition of amber leads to the general formula C10H16O.

Sentence with fossil fuels?

Fossil fuels are a type of renewable resource.

Why have fossil fuels become your primary energy resource?

Fossil fuels became the primary energy resource due to their abundance, cost-effectiveness, and established infrastructure for extraction and distribution. They have been widely used for their high energy density and convenience in powering various industrial processes and transportation.

What devices use fossil fuels as an energy resource?

Devices that use fossil fuels as an energy resource include cars, trucks, airplanes, generators, and some heating systems. These devices burn fossil fuels such as gasoline, diesel, and natural gas to produce energy for their intended purposes.

Why fossil fuels are regarded as infinite resource?

Fossil fuels are not regarded as an infinite resource. They are finite. Oil wells get used up and run dry. In the very long term, it is possible that new deposits of fossil fuel will be created by the same process that created the existing deposits, however, that takes millions of years, which means that for our purposes, fossil fuels will run out.

What is a disadvantage of burning fossil fuels for energy?

One disadvantage of burning fossil fuels for energy is the release of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, which contributes to climate change. Additionally, extracting and burning fossil fuels can lead to environmental pollution and habitat destruction. Finally, fossil fuels are a non-renewable resource, meaning they will eventually run out.

Why does it matter if you burn fossil fuels?

When we burn fossil fuels, that fossil fuel is gone. *POOF!* And it'll take millions of years for the nonrenewable resource to form again. Therefore we need to conserve fossil fuels as much as possible.

Is corn a fossil fuel or plant resource?

It is a plant resource. More info: Fossil fuels come from decayed plants and animals. Fossil fuels are a limited non renewable energy source. A plant resource can usually be regrown every year and therefore has no production limit.
