it should say so on the fuel gage
should have any where from 5-6.5 psi but not to exceed 7 psi because if it does the fuel will bypass the needle when it is shut and cause the engine to flood

don't start the engine until you get it out, pull the oil pan off and see if you can get it.
If your Jaguar is fuel injected the fuel pump is located on top and inside the fuel tank. If it has a carburetor it may be an in-line electric pump or the pump might be mounted on the side of the engine block. Follow the fuel lines from the fuel tank and you will find the pump.

you just push down on the fuel door and it should spring up. If it doesnt there is a realese in side the trunk right below the fuel door.
