∙ 11y agoThe government in UAE is a monarchy. The emirates are ruled by sheikhs and sheikhas (which are essentially kings and queens). Abu Dhabi is ruled by HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed (who also is the ruler of the country). The crown prince of Abu Dhabi (kind of like the vice president in America) is HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, brother of Sheikh Khalifa.
