What grades do you need to achieve to become an accountant?
The answer depends on where you want to work... in the United
States, to work for the government as an accountant you need at
least a bachelor's degree in the field. Many private firms want
someone who has earned a master's degree in either accounting or
auditing, or an MBA with a specialty in one or the other.
However, the important qualification for many positions is
post-bachelor's: you must take and pass the examination to be a
Certified Public Accountant. The certification is separate from the
academic degree, and has its own qualifications to be met.
