In the old numbering system, "A" simply refered to the the left side of the table. Group IA,IA are alkali metals.

Have a look at the periodic table page on wikipedia. I cannot make out the numbers of the groups.
I'm pretty sure that groups 3-12 (which includes 7) on the Periodic Table are classified as Metalloids.

Well the question is a little confusing. So I am giving the two possible answers. The eleventh element is sodium. The elements in the eleventh group are copper, silver, gold and roentginum
There is no group named 'you' in the periodic table.the groups in the periodic table are numbered, and have names that identify the general class of elements in that group, e.g. 'halogens'.See this question/answer for more details: What_are_the_group_names_in_the_periodic_table
Group 11 does not have its own names. The elements in this group are, Cu,Ag and Au. Their names are copper, silver and gold respectively.
It is called the Periodic Table of Elements.
Alkali metals: lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, caesium, francium.
These names are the names of chemical elements.

The names on the periodic table of Mendeleev are the names of chemical elements.
Some elements are named after the compound that they came from, or some attribute of it. Other elements are named after some aspect of the way in which the element was found. Still, there are other elements that get their names from places. Another interesting group of names comes from mythology. -Nev Singhota
Group 18 is made up of noble gases.Common names are Helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon and radon. They are most stable elements in the table.
