Dont connect the common wire.
if it came with gasket glue, or if it tells you to use it, use it on both sides. if it doesnt then you dont need to use it.

FOLLOW THE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE , TO THE TOP OF THE ENGINE .WHERE THE HOSE CONNECTS , THE THERMOSTAT LAYS INTO THE INTAKE MANIFOLD , BE SURE TO GET A GASKET WHEN YOU PURCHASE THE THERMOSTAT !!I DONT USE ANYTHINNG BUT FEL-PRO GASKETS AS THEY ARE BY FAR THE BEST !!!SPITNHARD79
You just have to use pads/tampons. Its the same as what everybody does, Dont worry about the blood, its supposed to happen.
follow the top radiator hose to the engine,that bracket where the hose ends is the thermostat housing,remove that and the thermostat is under it,dont fix it replace it
I changed the water pump and head gaskets and thermostat. Still overheated. I just took the thermostat out and it's running fine. Who knows!!
