During a heart attack your heart muscle is starved for oxygen, therefore it goes into spasm, that's why your chest hurts and your pulse rises. Also, your heart is not pumping efficiently, because it's going too fast, and the blood is not oxigenated properly in the lungs (that's what causes patients to hyperventilate), so you can faint or become unconcious because not enough blood is reaching your brain.
Heart attack risk goes up in men over 45 and women over 55 but heart attacks can happen at any age.

Symptoms of a possible heart attack include tightness, squeezing or pain in the chest area, left arm, neck and/or jaw; shortness of breath; fatigue and heartburn. The chance of a heart attack occurring is affected by factors such as age, level of obesity, smoking, alcohol consumption, high blood pressure, and Diabetes; but anyone is susceptible.

You have 3 lives in a heart attack first and second heart attack does hurt but it does not kill you to death but the third heart attack kills you to death that you die. Heart attack is really dangerous for kids under the age of 12 years because they do not have the three lives to be alive when they have heart attack they straight away die that is why children under the age of 12 years do not sit at the front seat otherwise your parents get fined you will die.

It is important to seek treatment fast, the long one goes with a blockage the more the damage can be caused. It is possible to have a heart attack and suffer no damage to the muscle, but the treatment must be quick.
