1000 years ago we were in theHolocene Epoch in the Quaternary Period of the Cenozoic Era as we still are today.

The start of the Cenozoic Era is marked by the KT boundary and the death of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago. The Quaternary Period started about 2.5 million years ago when the world went into flux with periods of glaciation followed by periods of warmer interglacial times. The Holocene started at the end of the last glaciation period about 12,000 years ago.

Is there Biblical evidence for Post-Millenialism?

Yes, Revelation 20 is where you can find the 1000 year period. verses 2&3 mention that Satan is thrown into the abyss for 1000 years. Verse 5 states "the rest of the dead did not come to live until AFTER the 1000 years. Verse 7 says that AFTER the 1000 years Satan is released, after that, he gathers an army and wages war, and is defeated. The judgment takes place after that. There are several events that take place after the 1000 years that Satan is in the abyss. That 1000 years is the milleniel period.
