During the Ice Age at least 1/3 of the earth was covered by ice. During this time people set traps for food and carry it home for it to be cooked. These areas were very cold and no grass grew except for a few shrubs and bushes.
Animal life in the last Ice Age consisted of a larger diversity of animals closely related to those that live today, including relatives of bears, lions, buffaloes, sloths, and monkeys as well as species known to be extant today. The climate of the time was overall colder in average global temperature, so many types of animals existed that were adapted to the cold (e.g. many types of mammoths); others were adapted towards life on the dry interiors of continents such as North America (e.g. Smilodon cats). A small sampling of extinct species known to have lived in the Ice Age is given below:
Mammuthus primigenius (the woolly mammoth)
Mammuthus columbianii (the Columbian mammoth)
Mammut americanum (the American mastodon)
Smilodon fatalis (the largest Sabre-toothed cat)
Glyptotherium texanum (giant armadillo)
Megatherium americanum(giant ground sloth)
Coelodonta antiquitatis (the woolly rhinoceros)
Arctodus simus (the giant short-faced bear)
Megalodon carcharodon (the giant white shark)
Panthera Leo spelaea (the cave lion)
Homo neanderthalensis (Neanderthal man)
It was a geological era where most of the earth experienced winter weather for most of the year. The Arctic and Antarctic ice caps covered huge areas of the world. Glaciers formed the Great Lakes. The only temperate area was near the equator.
It was cold and the only heat resources the early humans had were FIRE.
what is ice age and stone age information
not much
It was called the ice age because Europe and Asia were connected by the ice. Get it ice age.

We are in an ice age because we have a great thickness of ice at the poles. This is not normal unless we are in an ice age.

That's a tough question. But, most of the questions I've looked up about the yeti say that they can be found in the long ways of the Himalayans. With that positive information on the yeti, I do have a belief that he did live during the Ice Age, the Ice Age was the perfect climate for him. From, lillypad20
Ice age
the ice age formed by collecting ice together
The Stone Age came first, lasting from about 2.5 million years ago to about 3300 BCE, while the Ice Age occurred later, with several glacial and interglacial periods spanning from about 2.6 million years ago to about 11,700 years ago.
