Octavia was one of the most honored women in Rome. This was not only because of her brother, but because of her own character. When Antony finally divorced her, she took his children, both her own girls and Fulvia's boys, and raised them. After Antony and Cleopatra's deaths, she took in the twins and little Ptolemy and raised them too. She was a highly esteemed lady and received honors from her brother and the Roman people.

Next came two sons with his third wife, Fulvia, followed by two daughters with his fourth wife, Octavia. When he wasn't busy with his wives he managed to have the three children with Cleopatra. There is also a belief that he may have had a son with a woman named Glphydra of Cappadocia, but this is open to question.
