I would like to know as well. Ten years ago I did a diet where I had a bowl of Special K for breakfast, and an Uncle Ben's rice bowl and an orange for lunch and dinner, and lost 80 pounds. I would like to drop 20 more, and it stinks that they are off the market!

∙ 13y agoUncle Ben himself was allergic to the curry that was used in this flavour and he broke out in a nasty rash everywhere on his body. As you can imagine he scratched himself silly to the point of insanity and had to be committed to the rice institute for the irrashionally insane. Uncle Ben's wife divorced him and now has her own line of flavored rice including the actual curried flavor that tormented Uncle Ben. Her line of rice is sold in supermarkets everywhere under the Aunt Jemima label.
