As an indicator of ozone layer health, the "ozone hole" was at near record size last year. No real indicator that the ozone layer is healing. But if someone doesn't jump up and down on the panic button continuously, it is very easy for the anti-greens to make up snide remarks like the one shown above.

The ozone hole appeared every year at the pole, when it was winter at that pole and the ozone decayed. The hole got larger each year, and healed up before summer as UV-C arrives from the Sun, as it does every year.
