What happens at the end of Blood Promise?

Rose goes to find Dimitri. She eventually finds him and is too stunned over his appearance to kill him so he takes her hostage and refuses to kill her unless she decides to be strigoi with him.

Rose finally knows she has to get out and once she gets away from the estate heading toward the city lights with Dimitri on her tail they battle on a bridge and Rose says I will always love you and then stakes him and lets him go over the bridge. She then goes back to the academy and gets a parcel with a stake inside with a note saying she'd failed to kill him and missed a first rule make sure your enemy is dead. And that he's waiting for her and she had her chance to live but now Dimitri won't settle until she is silenced forever. She decides to give Adrian and her a chance as well.

At the end of "Blood Promise," Rose kills Dimitri to free him from being a Strigoi and to prevent him from harming others. The book ends with Rose setting off to find Lissa's half-sibling, Jill Mastrano, who is in danger.

Basically after Dimitri is 'Awakened', he is in Russia somewhere so Rose goes to find him, killing lots of Strigoi and torturing them to find out if they know his location. He stays with Dimitri's family but is holding of telling him that he is missing and they suspect he is Strigoi. She leaves the Academy without graduating, because her mom can't stop her because she is now 18, so she doesn't get her Promise Mark. Back at the Academy there is a new Moroi, her name is Avery, and you don't find this out till later on but Avery is a Spirit user - an evil one - who has twoShadow Kissed people, so sharing a bond with more than one - like Rose and Lissa - and try's and succeeds in turning Lissa into a rebel while Rose is gone, knowing Rose can't stop them. Lissa get's drunk and parties alot, and she accidentely kisses her ex - boyfriend Aaron and Christian finds out, and they break up. The reason why Avery is trying to get Lissa to be like this, is so that they can put Lissa's death as a suicide, so if Lissa is so drunk that she can get her to fall of a building or something. She wan'ts her dead because if Avery heals her, then she will have bonded with another Spirit user, making her power stronger. But it turns Avery mad and eventually she get's send to an Asylum. Eventually, Rose finds Dimitri, or the other way around more like, they're looking for each other at the same time, and he takes her, trying to convince her to become a Strigoi because he doesn't want to force her to become one, but she has no choice anyway. She gets out though and thinks she killed Dimtri, but she didn't, the stake fell out and she had already walked away. Also, Rose meats another Spirit user in Russia, who helps Rose speak in Lissa's head to stop her from killing herself. Rose also meets her dad, Abe, who turns out to be a Turkish Mafia Mobster (pretty awesome in her opinion) , she also gets a sort of new power which comes with her Shadow Kissed, she can sense when a Strigoi is near and a rough count of how many there are. She eventually goes back to the Academy and is accepted back, only to get a letter at the end of the book from Dimtri, with the same stake she killed him with, saying he will find her.
