Gaseous exchange is the process where we get the oxygen we need into our bodies and the Carbon dioxide, that we produce during respiration, out. This process takes place in little sacks of the lungs called alveolus. These Alveolus have several features that encourage gasseos exchange to take place including moist, one cell thick walls. The gases move by the process of deffusion. Deffusion is when gasses spread from an area of high concentratio to low concentration. The oxygen diffuses into the blood and the carbon diffuses int the lung. (Red blood cells exchange carbon dioxide for oxygen. -TRIP)

Praying Mantis are insects, they do not have lungs (gas exchanges happens using spiracles) so they can not hold their breath.
The lungs.
During energy exchanges, chemical bonds can break or form. When bonds break, energy is absorbed, while when bonds form, energy is released. This process is essential for chemical reactions to occur and for energy transfer in biological systems.
The transformation of a liquid to a gas.
Normal inspiration and expiration is directly related to contraction and relaxation of the diaphragm. This is involuntary act, normally.
The capitularies are responsible for bass exchange
Gas exchanges occurs in the "alveoli".
When a gas is compressed, the volume it occupies decreases, causing the gas molecules to be closer together. The number of molecules remains the same, as no molecules are added or removed during compression.

When a substance changes from a solid to a gas, called sublimation, it quickly becomes less dense.
