Just like in regular school, you can fail the subject or fail the entire grade level. Parents who homeschool should set out clear rules, including what will happen if a student doesn't do "homework" or readings. Parents who homeschool are generally very interested in their children's successes and likely won't put up with failure to complete homework. Better if you fess up now, and work out a plan with your parents for how you will catch up. You will need to seriously apply yourself and get your work done. The parent-homeschooling "teacher" can force you to go back to regular school. Being homeschooled is not a right--it is an alternative to being in regular school. You need to decide if you are mature enough to handle the responsibilities of being a homeschooled student, or if you prefer to fail while attending regular school. Either way, if you don't do your work, you can be "failed".
i think you can go to your town hall.
You can look into a specialty school that is either religious or private. If that does not work you might also want to look into homeschooling. If done right with a tutor and lots of planning then homeschooling can really help get a child away from the tough life of high school.
No Homeschooling is amazing! Especially if you do FLVS, you can work at your own pace and it is so much easier than traditional school. Take it from me, a current homeschooler who was a seventh grader in August and is now a ninth grader since March, homeschooling is the best that you could ever do!!!
