If the engine hasn't been started it's just a simple drain job. If the engine has been run for a time, bad news. Most likely the petrol will have damaged the seals in the injector pump.
it will expand the seals in the fuel injector pump and can stop leaks!
Bad injector, head cracking, fuel system restriction, bad injector cups, or fuel pump seals.
can you change the injector tubes and seals without removing the cylinder head on a 1.7 cdti Vauxhall combi and is it much of a job
Usually injector seals on these engines, Unfortunately you will need to change injector pipes as well.
disconnect the battery and disconnect the fuel line hookup to the fuel rail, remove the fuel rail support bolts and electrical connection. remove the rail from the engine. pull off each injector easily replace each fuel injector with seals. don't use the old seals.
Valves are too tight.or seals are damaged.(valve seals)
damaged grease seals; also overheating and thus melting grease, allowing it to leak past worn seals
Diesel fuel injector cleaner will not hurt your unleaded gas motor. The diesel fuel injector cleaner is basically the same as your unleaded injector cleaner.
I presume you mean overfill with oil. It will depend on how much you overfill it. If only a bit then it'll probably be OK. If a lot, you may get seals damaged.
The most likely problem comes from the fuel injector seals or the injectors.
the inlet manifold could Be leaking so check the gaskets or the injector seals
