we take in co2 or carbon dioxide which is released by plant. and we release oxygen which is needed by plants :)

the previous poster is 100% wrong. We do not take in C02 and release oxygen it is the other way around. If you dont know the answer to post one.

During photosynthesis, carbon-dioxide is the main starting component for the Calvin cycle whereby 3 molecules of carbon-dioxide and 3 molecules of ribluose-1,5-bisphosphate are ultimately converted to glucose, the end-product of photosynthesis. This is an anabolic reaction where from simple compounds like carbon-dioxide, organisms synthesize complex compounds.

From carbon dioxide during photosynthesis

Carbon dioxide is given off during photosynthesis?

No. Carbon dioxide is used for photosynthesis. The general equation for photosynthesis is C02 + H20 = Glucose and 02. Carbon dioxide is given off during respiration instead.

A compound that is split during photosynthesis is?

Carbon dioxide is split into carbon and oxygen during photosynthesis.

Which is produced during photosynthesis?

During what process do plants and other organisms take in carbon dioxide?

Green plants take in carbon dioxide during photosynthesis and give out oxygen. While respiration, all living organisms take in oxygen and carbon dioxide and then give out carbon dioxide.

How does the process of photosynthesis affect carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere during a typical year?

Photosynthesis uses carbon dioxide as a raw material where carbon dioxide is fixed into organic molecules. This process lowers the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The seasonal fluctuation of carbon dioxide levels during a year may be caused by increased photosynthesis during spring and summer.
