In the condensation phase change, a gas cools (loses energy) and changes to a liquid. Example: water vapor turns into liquid rain.
it remains in a vapor state
Evaporation is the process of becoming a vapor and condensation is the process by which a gas or vapor changes to a liquid.
It condense to liquid.
That's called condensation.
It evaporates?
Condensation happens when a gas or a vapor changes into a liquid or a solid. H2O (v) ----->H2O (l or s) V= vapor L=liquid S=solid
Evaporation, it is called sublimation.
loses energy
The water expands... so the volume increases.
The liquid vaporizes and the temperature increases as the volume also increases.
When liquid water changes into water vapor it is called evaporation. Condensation would be the opposite from water vapor to liquid water.
"evaporation is what happens" no... that's condensation....
CondensationCondensation is the process by which water vapor changes to liquid.
condensation is where a gas changes into liquid. so when vapor condenses it form clouds and then it rains, as well as it forms fogs. when this happens, it rains then the whole water cycle process starts again.
what happens is that the air(vapor) changes state back to liquid when it hits the cold glass since the temperature lowers the energy of the gas and transforms it back to a liquid.
I believe that water vapor changes to a gas before water condenses into clouds.
