as the temperature increase the molecular interaction between the liquids molecules are weaker, since hydrogen bond is the main factor for association between two molecules which are very weak bond, so it can be break easily when the temperature increase leading to decrease in surface tension

How do salts change a surface tension?

Dissolving inorganic salts in water the surface tension is increased.

Consequences of hydrogen bonding?

Major consequences of hydrogen bonding are: - surface tension - capillary action and imbibition - resistance to temperature change

Is there a way to increase the surface tension of water?

The surface tension of "pure" water against air at 20 degrees C is 72.75 dynes/cm. This increases with cooling and decreases with heating. Most inorganic solutes increase the surface tension of the solution when dissolved in water. Most mineral acids decrease the surface tension of the solution in water (sulfuric acid is the most obvious exception). Most organic compounds decrease the surface tension of the solution in water (organic acids and alcohols are often exceptions). It is important to note that we are talking about increasing and decreasing the surface tensions of solutions of these things in water with respect to distilled water. In order to change the surface tension of distilled water, just changing the temperature will suffice. PS : At 0 degrees Celsius, the surface tension of water is 75.6 dynes/cm, at 100 degrees it is only 58.9 dynes/cm.

How does changing a planet's albedo change a planet's temperature?

If you increase the albedo, more solar radiation will be reflected back into space and so the temperature will be lowered.

Does the speed of sound in water change with a temperature change?

yes it is changing. It's increasing with the temperature.

Why the change in surface tension is much less when sodium chloride is added to water in place of an equivalent amount of ethanol?

Sodium chloride increase the surface tension of water and methanol decrease the surface tension of water.

Do pyrogens act by increasing the set point for body temperature in the thalamus?

No. Pyrogens act by increasing the temperature, but they do not change the set point in the thalamus.

When you dissolve something in water does that change its capillary action or surface tension?

yes
