During a lunar eclipse, the Sun and Moon are on opposite sides of the Earth, the Sun will tend to cancel some of the effect that the Moon has on the earth, but you can still expect high tide to occur during a lunar eclipse, but it will be slightly less than if the Sun were not on the opposite side of the Earth.

Tides are affected by both the moon and the sun. Each month the highest high tides occur when the moon and sun are in rough alignment and thus "pulling" together on the oceans. During a solar eclipse the alignment of sun and moon are not significantly different from what we get during other months when the highest monthly tides occur without an eclipse.

They don't.

Eclipses are optical, tides are gravitational.

(But because eclipses always happen at the same time as astronomical high tides, it's easy to confuse cause and effects.)

The eclipse in and of itself does not affect the tides. There is more tidal variation during a solar eclipse, but this occurrence, known as the spring tides, is typical of the new moon and full moon phases, whether an eclipse occur or not.

i think currents are stronger and so are waves because there is more gravity
