There are no water pipes passing through the interior cabin of a car.
Becuase when water freezes, it expands and burst the pipe from the inside.
yes any pipe will
I had a water pipe burst in my kitchen, so I called a plumber. He wasn't very good he burst another pipe.
Why did the pipe burst? If the tenant caused it, he is responsible for the damage and the repair of the pipe. If it just happened or the landlord could have prevented it, the landlord is responsible for the pipe and structural damage. I do not believe he is responsible for personal items lost or damaged. You would have to prove that he did something to cause the pipe to burst and knew it was likely to happen.
No, the cold water supplies the water heater also. No water coming in means no water at all.
If you close all water shutoffs or all water faucets and the water flow indicator on your water meter is moving, then you might have a burst pipe. Also, if your pipes are frozen, no water is coming out of any faucets, and your water flow indicator on your water meter is moving, then you probably have a burst pipe. Hope this helps.
If you are talking about a water pump then the kick-back is what happens when the pump is working and the water is flowing inside the pipe then when the pump stops the water flow suddenly stops as well and the column of water inside the pipe falls back because of gravity, if this is not prevented then the impulsor inside the pump, the seal or both can get damaged.

They freeze. Water expands when it freezes and the pipe breaks.
If you suffer a burst water pipe, you would use the stop cock to shut off the water until you can have the burst pipe repaired. The stop cock is simply a valve that you can manually turn on or off. The main stop cock is usually near were the water pipes enter the house from outside - mine is in my kitchen. There may be a stop cock on the header tank in the loft, or on the inlet pipe to the hot water tank, or in some other places, such as below the bathroom sink, and so on. When things go wrong with your water supply inside your home, you can't have too many water stop cocks!
Burst water pipes and water heaters busting are covered for the damage caused inside the house if its sudden and accidental, but the pipe or water heater themselves are not covered as this is maintenance. This is generally not a problem as the damage is more severe than the piece of pipe. Outdoors is going to be more of a problem as the damage is nothing anyway. More information is needed to give you a complete answer. Are you talking about sprinkler system, pipes in a pool house for the pool, or other pipes. Cause is the issue in question as well.
