What happens when you beat the campaign mode in modern warfare 2?

You unlock a level called museum but you can not get any achievements on this level and you cannot choose the difficulty either it is automatically put on veteran. The level is very fun cause once you kill the enemies in one section and then go to the other the ones you just killed respawn again (never ending level).

∙ 14y agoNothing - it counts toward your overall game completion/trophy percentage (100% for Special Ops, Campaign, and Multiplayer), but that's about it. While Campaign is a blast, SpecOps is more intense, and of course the game is designed as an online shooter.
2 things you should be trying to do in Campaign besides beating it on Veteran is to both look for the Intel Laptops, and opportunities to complete your trophies. You can go to your trophies menu on the PS3 to see which ones have been completed and which ones haven't.
Though the last 3 Echo missions in SpecOps seem unbeatable, they in fact are. It's not impossible to get all 69 stars.
