There would be more plastic around the state
AnswerMainstream Answer: If you don't recycle paper, the trees that make our oxygen won't last so much longer. If you recycle cans, the energy that would have been used to make more cans will be saved. When you recycle, space in landfills are saved. Also, things such as plastic bottles can last up to 1 million years and Styrofoam never goes away, it is indefinite. The best thing to do is re-use as much of these things as we can.If we didnt recycle land fills will fill up.
Reality: Recycling in many cases uses up far more energy to collect, clean and process the materials in question than it does to simply make new materials from scratch. The result is wasted money and wasted energy.
Don't worry about it. Wasting paper is great for the environment, if you think about it! As you know, Trees are renewable resources, which means you can waste all the paper you like! The only problem is that you're gay
i have heard a few times that it is more enviromentally frendly to place paper and cardboard in landfill rather than recycling it.
if trees from renewable forests are used to make the paper and cardboard then
1. the wood used to make the product is from a completely renewable source.
2. all of the carbon making up the wood of the tree has been removed from carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
3. making paper from wood pulp uses less poluting chemicals than are used to clean and recycle the paper.
4. if after use the paper and cardboard are placed in landfill it is sealed away from the atmosphere, and although they are concidered biodegradable this fact is almost meaningless as they would be sealed away from the oxigen in the atmosphere.
5. the small ammount of deccay that would occur would result in methane and can be used to create clean power.
6 locking the carbon in paper and cardboard underground has the oposite effect to the digging up and burning of fosil fuels.
7. the operators of renewable forests are more profitable resulting in them buying more land and planting more trees.
Many, if not all, of the products that we produce and use have their origin in our ecosystems - that is, for example, wood comes from trees. Cutting down trees to get the wood for use by consumers (furniture, paper, etc.) removes these trees from their natural contributions to those natural ecosystems. Trees take in carbon dioxide and, using water in the process of photosynthesis (with the help of chlorophyll in the leaves), make complex sugars that may then be stored as starch or fructose (in fruits, for example). Most importantly, the process of photosynthesis results in the production, and release, of oxygen which, in turn, is taken in by animals for the biochemical breakdown of foods inside cells of the body (respiration). The breakdown of such foods in the digestive systems of animals releases energy that is then used by them to perform work (walking, running, exercising, etc.). Plants and animals are inextricably linked to one another in these biochemical pathways. It is not possible to abuse the one without risking the health of the other.
It would take more trees to make inot more paper (as less is being recycled). Less trees in the environment due to many being cut down destroys habitats, especially for natural animals and life forms, and reduces the amount of oxygen being produced in the air. The decrease in oxygen and increase in carbon dioxide in the air can lead to pollution, Ozone Layer depletion, and global warming.
if you you do not recycle our world will be a dump! Our citys will be just landfills!!
If we don't recycle paper, then we will lose more and more trees as we go along. In the end, there might not be any left, and we won't have oxygen to breathe.
it gets thrown away , into landfill
they get recycle
If you do not recycle, pollution will increase. This will further increase ozone depletion.
They get turned into new electronics.
Cans get to the make and then do into more cans.
We will be filled with wastes.
recycle bin
Hobo's run around wearing them.
If you don't recycle plastic then it is thrown into a landfill. Once in the landfill it will be buried with other trash which pollute groundwater.
First of all you should be knowing that Plastics cannot be recycled.Hence if they don't recycle nothing happens except pollution. Answer Many stores do have bins where you can return them. That keeps them off of the streets. It also makes it possible to recycle them since they are clean and separate from other recyclables.
well when people don't recycle the land fills began 2 ple up and we don't breathe clean air
When you recycle you it helps the world a better place and it makes our world greener.
I guess it all just goes to waste..
