Perhaps nothing. That will depend on a number of variables, including how far past expiration it has gone and how it has been stored. I have found that mozzarella gets softer as it ages which makes it harder to shred. Older mozzarella also tends to be more oily when it melts. The flavor changes, too. If you don't see mold and don't smell off-odors, that will be up to you as to whether or not you want to use it.
don't eat it. it must have gotten air and it oxygenated.
Not all americans eat cheese instead of mozzarella, we actually eat it with cheese then sprinkle mozzarella on top. Grouping together every american in the world saying we all eat the same thing isnt right. We all like it differently i prefer cheese but i know some people who prefer mozzarella. The reason why most of us eat it with cheese though im not sure.
NO, almost evey cheese is sold ready to eat.
I eat it .
Only if you eat it.
Unless you are lactose intolerant, yes.
I'm wondering the same thing
Yes. Personally, I think mozzarella cheese stick pieces make great training treats for dogs.
Eating expired cheese can lead to food poisoning or stomach upset due to the growth of harmful bacteria. It is best to avoid consuming expired cheese to prevent potential health risks.
It is generally safe to eat expired parmesan cheese as long as it does not show signs of spoilage such as mold or an off smell. However, the taste and quality may be compromised.
You will get sick
I would not eat it, who knows how many flies have been on it
