What happens when you bake Play-Doh?

Intrigued, I looked it up. Since it is intended as a children's toy it is hardly likely to be toxic! This is from its manufacturer's web-site (Hasbro):

"The exact ingredients of PLAY-DOH compound are proprietary, so we cannot share them. .... it is primarily a mixture of water, salt and flour. nothing will happen if you eat play doh your mouth may become salty and you may need a drink of water but nothing too bad
