From drugs.com (see link to the left):

Do not take Lortab with alcohol, other narcotic pain medications, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxers, or other medicines that can make you sleepy or slow your breathing. Dangerous side effects may result. Do not take this medication without first talking to your doctor if you drink more than three Alcoholic Beverages per day or if you have had alcoholic liver disease (cirrhosis). You may not be able to take medication that contains acetaminophen.

From TrustedOnlinePharmacy.com: Avoid alcohol while taking Lortab. Alcohol can increase drowsiness and dizziness caused by the medication, possibly resulting in unconsciousness and death. Lortab can be damaging to the liver when taken with alcohol.

When combined together lortab and alcohol can cause serious liver damage and even death if you take it together. You can die from either respiratory depression and/or liver failure when you mix these two drugs. Many deaths have occurred from people combining alcohol and lortab (hydrocodone)

Best not to find out. I did not care for Lortab when I was in recovery from surgery, and I went with beer instead. Choose one or the other, but drugs and alcohol are a fool's mix.
