Microwave ovens work by flooding the oven compartment with high-frequency microwave radiation. Microwaves affect water molecule by pivoting it (turning it up and down million times per second) which generates friction with surrounding material and heats it up very rapidly.

If you put a live dog in the microwave oven, the dog would feel every cell on its skin going from 37C degrees to a 100 in under 2 seconds. It would probably feel the same if you drop it into a pot of boiling water.

Please don't ever do that. This is extreme cruelty.
