On the day of implantation there is a rise in estrogen. If charting BBT you will see a dip referred to as the second dip (the first being the one prior to ovulation).
I believe it is when your ovaries are traveling down the fallopian tubes.
In the late maturation follicular phase, the dominant follicle level secretion of estrogen crosses a certain threshold stimulating Luteinizing Hormone (LH) secretion, which in turn stimulates more estrogen production by the follicle. The result is a rapid increase in LH secretion, the LH surge, and therefore triggers the rupture of the dominant follicle, in other words, ovulation.
An estrogen level at 30 means that the woman is menopausal. Estrogen levels at 30 or below refer to a woman in her menopausal stage.

There was this one time that I had experienced spotting midway through my cycle (about 13 days after my periods) and I remember freaking out completely. I hadn’t been on pills nor was I experiencing any kind of other health issues. So before consulting my doctor, I decided to do the obvious- I googled it! I found various websites but Parenthoodbliss website cleared all my doubt on spotting during pregnancy. I’ll share a summary of what I learnt from the blog and my doctor’s appointment the other day Estrogen is one of the most critical hormones in ovulation. Initially, estrogen is low during your period and rises through the first part of the menstrual cycle. When estrogen reaches its maximum it signals the release of the luteinizing hormone (where the ovary releases an egg). As soon as the luteinizing hormone matches the level of estrogen, there is a swift drop in estrogen that destabilizes the endometrium, the lining of the uterus, and also causes a little shed off the lining. Spotting during ovulation can be considered as a good indicator that your hormones are functioning as they should. The American Journal of Epidemiology has reported that the levels of estrogen, luteal progesterone, and luteinizing hormone (LH) during ovulation is higher in women who experience mid-cycle ovulation spotting.
The oestrogen is produced from third to forth day of menstruation. It helps to stop the bleeding. After ovulation the progesterone joins in. Level of both the hormone falls dawn few days before the menstruation. That event initiate the menstruation.
This could be happening because of your hormonal levels, especially your estrogen level. Before I went on a birth control pill, I had this problem also. My doctor said it is due to estrogen levels being too low. Having a low estrogen level can cause you to start your period too early. Therefore, she gave me a pill with more estrogen in it and I have not had this issue since. If you are not currently on a birth control pill, you could have your doctor run a hormone level test and go from there.
You should see a doctor if your estrogen level is too high.
Teenage girls will mature and grow hips, even if their estrogen level is low. A doctor can prescribe estrogen to help keep levels where they should be if necessary.
