dogs can actually take infant/childrens pain medication and administer it by poundage of the dog, just like you would for an infant or toddler, we have used infant tylenol. You may not know this but the vets give dogs and cats children's medicine and even children's antibiotics.
I don't know who posted this originally, but Tylenol should NEVER be given to any dog. It has a chemical that will make a dog's brain swell.
