∙ 12y agoIf it is a teacher work day and students are not scheduled to be at school, schools are not usually closed in my area and teachers are to report to work. If the road conditions are so bad that teachers should not report to work, it will be announced on local radio and television stations.
If school is called off on a day when students were to be at school, teachers may still be expected to go in. That will be announced on the local radio and television stations. Usually, when school is cancelled for students, teachers do not have to go in, either.
