Good Lord, why would you want to?!
I am assuming that this pill is not one that you have a legitimate prescription for, because if you have clinical depression, you understand that you need to take the pills to prevent the depression from coming back as often and as bad.
If you - for some odd reason - just decided to take a pill to see what would happen - tell me, do you also pick up dog crap off the street and eat it just to see what would happen?
You are going to have to figure out what you have put into your body and look it up yourself to see what the side effects are.
Of course the main reason you never take medication without a prescription is because
When a person goes to the doctor for medicine, the doctor takes a medical history so that he or she can decide which medicine is save to give that person. Just sticking something in your mouth is a great way to find that you are deathly allergic to it, or are one of the people that it causes to go into convulsions.
Well if you don't have depression, you shouldn't be taking it. You'll need to talk to your doctor about that and see what they think about it. In general, taking medication when not needed can cause health issues either instantly, or long term issues if continued. You should NOT TAKE ANY medicine unless you need it.
If you take the drug then you may feel drowsy and sleep for a longer time then usual.
There are no beneficial effects for sure. There could be sideeffects though.

Yes, it is possible to become depressed or stay depressed while on antidepressant's. The main reason and also one of the biggest reasons is that it usually takes 2-4 weeks for the true/full affects of antidepressants to to start working. Then, the new antidepressant you started may not be the right one for you. So, then they may start you on a different antidepressant or add another antidepressant to the first one they started you on to begin with. I know from personal experience it may take several tries before they find the correct antidepressant or a combination of antidepressants. Hang in there and hopefully they will find what works for you. Depression can really be debilitating sometimes but when they find what works best you will start feeling better and start being more of yourself again. Sincerely, Jeff
If you have been prescribed the antidepressants by a psychiarist, take them as ordered. Do not take more or less than the doctor has prescribed. If you have a problem with an antidepressant call your doctor ASAP.
It depends on how strong it is and how much of it you take.
Any serious illness can make you feel depressed. People who are very sick for a long time get tired of being sick. Being in pain can also make you depressed. This kind of depression usually goes away in a few weeks or months. Your doctor can give you some antidepressant medication to take until you recover completely.
Fluoxetine is antidepressant drug. It boost up your mood if you are depressed. So that way it lift your mood. But it does not make you feel 'high'.
You don't take depressants. You take anti-depressants, which counters being depressed.
