Karl marx believe that social change through class conflict was needed to improve society. His view was divided into two main classes; capitalists and the working class. The capitalists were also known as the Bourgeoisie, and owned the working class who were called the Proletariat. Karl marx is best known as the father of modern communism.

Yes he was, but that has NOTHING to do with American society! (capitalism has nothing to do with Communism, one is a law of the jungle, and the other is a policed 'everything divided evenly..[in theory] ideology) They are Polar opposites!

The answer to the original question is none...clearly..

Karl Marx's influence today can be seen in the continued relevance of his ideas on capitalism, class struggle, and social inequality. His works continue to inspire academic research, political movements, and social critiques around the world, particularly in the context of debates on economic disparities and the role of the state in regulating markets.

Karl Marx (1818-1883) is best known not as a philosopher but as a revolutionary communist, whose works inspired the foundation of many communist regimes in the twentieth century

was a German philosopher, political economist, historian, sociologist, humanist, political theorist, and revolutionary credited as the founder of communism.

Trained as a philosopher, Marx turned away from philosophy in his mid-twenties, towards economics and politics

Marx's theory of history - is centered on the idea that forms of society rise and falls as they further and then impede the development of human productive power

The analysis of history and economics come together in Marx's prediction of the inevitable economic breakdown of capitalism, to be replaced by communism

Marx refused to speculate in detail about the nature of communism, arguing that it would arise through historical processes, and was not the realization of a pre-determined moral ideal.

He was the first to make people understand that the working people of the country were the one who had the power.

He believed the socialism would replace capitalism.

He believed that in the end there would be a classless society and the working class will rise.

Karl Marx is the Main reason for Socialist and Communist governments existing today. He is probably responsible for many wars, revolutions, and quiet genocides. Karl Marx was lazy so he made a government where laziness is allowed.

A serious disagreement with the last line of this answer is in the Discussion Area but it should be here, so I moved it.

Although I have not read a biography of Karl Marx and cannot say anything about so-called laziness, I see no indication of it. One only has to look at his body of writings to see that he was not at least intellectually lazy. And he could not have written such a volume of work while sleeping in.It is wrong to say Marx created a government that allows laziness. He did not create any type of government. He theorized that capitalism was an oppressive economic system and that this oppressive nature would ultimately destroy capitalism and evolve into socialism. From socialism, society would evolve into communism. Not one socialist or communist government on earth today is anything like Marx envisioned.Under true communism, Marx said there would not even be a government. The state would simply wither away and disappear. It is illogical to say that Marx created a government that permitted laziness, when under his vision of communism, there would not even be a government.Given the history of the so-called communist countries where the state controls the means of production, those countries tolerate far less laziness than do the capitalist countries. Many of the "communist" countries are so dictatorial that they have the power to force people to work, whereas most capitalist countries permit laziness if one is satisfied with living on public assistance.Marx said under communism each person would contribute according to his capacity and each person would take according to his need. Workers would be expected to work up to their capacity, not their personal standards of laziness.
