A chemical equation is used in the means of writing out and describing a chemical reaction, such as the reactants and the substance that forms after the reaction (called the product)
P.S: it took me a little to find out the question since i had it too. Some teachers decide to give out questions like these in attempt to get people to practice their research skills instead of just relying on a "magic book" for the answer.
Chemical equations provide a simplifies, stereotypical view of chemical phenomena so that a particular event can be quantified. They take into account relationships with other chemical laws and theories, in order to find new cause-effect correlations. They are not universal (applying to all dimensions and states of matter, etc...), but they do provide that sterotypical view of chemistry to make it easier to grasp in our limited and primitive three-dimensional construct of our universe.
the reactant and the products, sometimes temperature and pressure are included if it is not at STP, one atmosphere and 25 0 c. Catalysts are included if r the reaction will not go without the catalysts.
A balanced chemical equation shows the proportions of reactants and products necessary for the reaction to occur.
A chemical equation indicates the reactants and products in a chemical reaction.
A chemical formula alone does not provide information about a chemical reaction.
- indications about reactants and products (chemical formula etc.)
- quantities of chemicals involved in the reaction
- type of reaction
it tells you that a new substance was produced
The chemical equation is the graphical representation of a chemical reaction.
When there is a change in its chemical/physical properties. A chemical reaction involves the changing of the object's chemical make up.
from a balanced chemical equation
You have to notice what happens during the reaction and what products have been obtained.
Only after the measurement of the reaction rate. See the link below for details.
The number of that type particle involved in the reaction.
You need to calculate the yield of the reaction.
This is an endothermic chemical reaction.
A chemical reaction will do the following; Change colour Create smoke A non chemical reaction (Physical Reaction) will do the following; Change State Be able to change back to the original materials
Chemical equations describe the products and reactants in a chemical reaction.
Whether the reaction is endothermic or exothermic
Because it is not a physical change it is a chemical change.
Chemical properties tell you how the element or compound is going to react during a chemical reaction.
When there is a change in its chemical/physical properties. A chemical reaction involves the changing of the object's chemical make up.
With magnets.
The apparatus becomes hot.
from a balanced chemical equation
You have to notice what happens during the reaction and what products have been obtained.
