Apply a thin film of petroleum jelly, before applying the gloss. If you dont want to look like a clown, don't apply the gloss in daytime, just use a tinted lip balm. Use gloss for night time parties .

∙ 12y agoIdk what ingredients make lip gloss last longer, but if you put primer on your lips first, I notice it helps keep it on longer. Its not going to stay on for 24 hours, but it sure does last a lot longer!

∙ 14y agoThere's no chemical that could make lip gloss last all day that you could actually put on someone's lips. I mean, you could theoretically put linear urethane in it and have it last all day, but linear urethane (it's what they put in car paint) would turn your lips as hard as a rock so that's out.
