There is no evidence of Johnny Depp in a Three Stooges film .
Monte Collins.Collins was dressed in drag to play the Stooges mother in Cactus Makes Perfect. He played in several other Three Stooges two reelers, without credit, during the 1940s.
yeah, just heard it on the radio. He is gaining 50 lbs. for the role.
Vaudville comic Joey Faye claimed authorship of "Slowly I Turned" in its many formats . (I'm not sure as to which play this skit was first performed .)
Technically, it was Emil Sitka who was scheduled to take over for Larry when he passed in January, 1975. But Moe fell ill to lung cancer and passed in April, 1975 and Sitka never got to play with the Stooges. He was a role player in many Stooges two-reel shorts of the 1940s and 1950s. He passed away in 1998. Moe Howard - 1897-1975 Larry Fine - 1902-1975 Curly Howard - 1903-1952 Shemp Howard - 1895-1955 Joe Besser - 1907-1988 Curly Joe DeRita - 1909-1993 Joe Palma - 1905-1994* Emil Sitka - 1914-1998 * - Shemp passed away with four two-reel shorts left in the contract. Joe Palma stepped in and 'played' Shemp for those four shorts. Palma had no lines, kept his face away from the camera, and wore a wig that looked like Shemp's hair. Palma, like Emil Sitka, played in many Stooges shorts in the 40s and 50s. At the end of the contract Joe Besser was signed to become the third Stooge.
Moe didn't play any instrument. Larry was the only one who could play an instrument. He learned to play the violin as a child as means of rehab due to an accidental acid burn injury to his hands. He performed in several concerts before joining the Stooges, and one of his performances was his winning ticket to becoming one of the Stooges

The instrument Larry the Cucumber plays in the Veggie Tales theme song looks like a Sousaphone, a member of the tuba family that wraps around the body, resting on the shoulder, and is used primarily for marching. The most noticable difference between the Sousaphone that Larry plays and a real one is that Larry's Sousaphone does not have any valves. Also, real sousaphones are much larger than real cucumbers!
no he did not play an instrument he had a girlfriend that did though
how do you play the instrument angklung
Yes... I taught myself to play the harmonica in Under 30 minutes! You should try, it is an amazing thing to be able to play beautiful music from such a simple instrument. I also play the brass instrument the Trumpet. I have played the trumpet for three years, and have enjoyed it immensely. Give it try!
