They are important because if they were no invertebrates the humans wouldnt be able to do stuff like fishing cause they need worms.Also because things like flower pollination we need bees to pollinate the flowers.If they were no bees the flowers the animal pollinated flowers race would stop. So point being made that we need invertebrates because they carry out important duties to humans
