Einstein invented a refrigerator with no moving parts, thus it needed no seals which could wear out causing loss of refrigerant.

While it saw no use at the time, it eventually became important to nuclear reactor cooling systems using sodium and/or potassium metal coolants.

He may have invented other things, but this is the one he is most well known for.

Theoratically speaking, Einstein did not invent anything, but he proposed many useful and revolutionary theorys. One of which I consider the greatest achievement of mankind in the study of science, is his theory or Relativity, composing that everything was somehow related to one another, and explained how gravity works to some extent with his space-time fabric theory. He also created the formulae E=mc^2, with E being energy, and light and mass for the other numerals.
