A gallon is four (4) quarts; a quart is two (2) pints; and a pint is 2 cups. Thus, a gallon is 2 x 2 x 4 = 16 cups, or a cup is 1/16 of a gallon. Thus, 2 cups is 1/8 of a gallon.
4 quarts 8 pints 16 cups 128 ounces
If you have one gallon of water and your using a 5 to 1 mix ratio, you need 3 cups, 3 tablespoons and a half teaspoon. I'm sure 3 cups will do the trick though.
1. Fill the 2 gallon container with water. 2. Pour all the water in the 2 gallon container into the 3 gallon container. 3. Refill the 2 gallon container 4. Fill the 3 gallon container the rest of the way with the 2 gallon container. You will have 1 gallon left in the 2 gallon container without using the 5 gallon container. P.S Whose bomb are you trying to defuse?
2 quarts and 1/2 gallon
NO!!!! Remember the Imperial Liquid Table 4 gills = 1 pint 8 pints = 1 gallon. Hence 1 pint is 1/8 of a gallon. As a percentage 1/8 x 100 = 12.5% (The Answer).
1 gallon = 16 cups. 2 cups go into 1 gallon 8 times.
1 gallon = 16 cups 1 cup = 0.06 gallon 8 cups = 1/2 gal
8 quarts = 2 gallons because 1 gallon = 4 quarts 4x2=8 quarts
18 cups 1 gallon = 16 cups 1 cup = 0.06 Gallon
Since there are 2 cups in a pint, 2 pints in a quart, and 4 quarts in a gallon, there would be 16 cups in one gallon. 2 cups/pint x 2 pints/quart x 4 quarts/gallon = 16 cups per gallon 16 cups/gallon x 2 gallon = 32 cups/2 gallons.
There are 16 cups in a gallon, so 32 cups equals 2 gallons.
12 cups = .75 gal 1 gallon = 16 cups 1 cup = 0.06 gallon
plus 14 cups 1 gallon = 16 cups 1 cup =0.23 gallon
32 cups 1 gallon = 16 cups 1 cup = 0.06 Gallon
2 cups 1 gallon = 16 cups 1 cup = 0.06 Gallon
1 gallon = 128 ounces 128 ounces / 16 ounces (or 1 pint) = 8 pints per gallon 8 pints x 18 gallons = 144 pints (or 16 ounces) in 18 gallons
