You need to be more specific. Gb refers to a Gigabyte, which is one billion bytes (actually slightly more due to computers using base-2, but that is a different discussion). A byte is (usually) the simplest unit of storage, and can usually hold one character or number.
So a 4 Gb file will contain roughly 4 billion characters.
"4gb memory" most likely refers to a computer with four gigabytes of system RAM, which means you can have 4 Gb of data open at one time. This is different from hard disk space, which stores information while the system is powered off.
It is 4 gb. GB and gb are essentially the same thing, even if you mean the difference between gigabytes and gibibytes. the only difference, would be that 4GB could possibly be construed to mean either 4100 KB or 1000 KB, where a gb would only be 4000 kb.

It isn't all nice even numbers because computers use binary.
4GB of memory is 4 Giga-bytes of RAM, or Random Access Memory. Which is a crucial part of a computer. 4GB is usually considered a high amount, which is good.
4GB is just the amount of memory you have on ur phone or computer eg.

Assuming each picture is no more than 1 MB, it is conceivable that a 4TB drive would hold over 4,000,000 pictures. That's 4x106 pictures, assuming your finger or your camera doesn't wear out first! DLJ, 12/31/2012
8 bits = 1 byte, 1024 bytes = 1 Kilobyte, 1024 kilobytes = 1 megabyte, 1024 megabytes = 1 gigabyte. Or as most humans look at it 1billion bytes equals a gigabyte. 1024 gigabytes = 1 terabyte 1024 terabytes = 1 petabyte and 1024 petabytes = 1 exabyte.
The 2TB external Drives are run by power adapters as they're too big for USB ports. Iomega prestige is priced at å£149 and can be vertically mounted. Lacey is different in that it is a black glossy box and is å£180.

Yes, you must call him Gib, when his name is Gib and when his name is Gib, a then you call him Gib. So I called him Gib.
There is exactly one gigabyte in a gigabyte.

On iPod, it abbreviates it to GB in the usage section on general settings.

A 250 GB hard drive has 232 GB because 232 GB is an estimate to 250 GB. So 232 GB would be rounded to 250 GB. Or a 500 GB hard drive that has 455 GB, 455 GB is rounded to 500 GB.Examples (Most Likely):A 40 GB hard drive, it's 37.2 GB or 38.2 GBA 80 GB hard drive, it's 74.5 GB or 74.4 GBA 160 GB hard drive, it's 135 GB, 138 GB, 148 GB, or 149 GBA 250 GB hard drive, it's 217 GB, 219 GB, 223 GB, or 232 GBA 320 GB hard drive, it's 283 GB, 284 GB, 285 GB, or 286 GBA 500 GB hard drive, it's 451 GB, 453 GB, 455 GB, or 465 GBA 640 GB hard drive, it's 582 GB, 583 GB, 586 GB, or 588 GBA 750 GB hard drive, it's 692 GB, 694 GB, 695 GB, or 698 GBA 1 TB(terabyte)(1024 GB), it's 916 GB, 918 GB, 920 GB, or 931 GBThese hard drive capacities(how much it holds total) are most likely to happen when you get a new computer or a new external hard drive. This should help you with your 250 GB hard drive problem.
