Is there any apps to run exe on an Android phone?

there are two ways to do this, the first is by emulating the whole of an op system. One way to do this is by using bochs or qemu. search for either "android bochs" or "android qemu", that should get you started. Another way (this will only let you run dos apps) is through the app "aDosBox", this will let you run games like doom and quake but it won't get you to far into exe's. Other than this there isn't much else.

Are there any open-source x86-based processors?

There are none in production. Several software emulators exist for x86 instructions, such as Bochs and QEMU, as well as some implemented on an FPGA, like Zet and CPU86.

What are the best virtualization tools for Linux?

The top seven Virtualization tools for Linux are: Open VZ, Xen, Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), Linux-VServer, VirtualBox, Bochs, and User Mode Linux (UML).

Can you run programs compiled with Turbo C on Linux?

Turbo C cannot compile native Linux binaries, only programs for MS-DOS. MS-DOS applications can be run on Linux through a variety of methods, including DOSEMU, DOSBox, QEMU, Bochs, and VirtualBox.

Is there a port of DOSBox to DOS?

No. However, it is possible to run the Windows version of DOSBox under MS-DOS and compatibles using HX DOS Extender. HX DOS Extender allows you to run a limited number of Windows applications under DOS. DOSBox, QEMU, Bochs, and a couple other emulators can be run using this method.

Can you install ANY OS on your ps2 p21 or psp?

PSPs which are able to run homebrew could use a port of "BOCHS" to run basic operating systems on them. However a PSP is far too slow to run any operating systems at useable speeds. PS2s can run linux, if you buy one of the old kits and a USB keyboard, but again it would be slow. PS3s could do this much faster, a Google for "linux on PS3" would help you.

Can Ubuntu run on Windows 98?

Ubuntu cannot be run "on" Windows 98 as if it were a simple application; they are both operating systems and thus cannot exert control of the hardware at the same time like a typical operating system does. Ubuntu can be run in an emulator or virtual machine on top of another system, as the emulator presents "fake" hardware and thus does not affect the "real" system. There are no virtual machines for Windows 98, but there are a couple of emulators, such as Bochs or QEMU, that can be used to run Linux (at a great performance penalty).Another option, though difficult to set up, would be to use Loadlin. This can boot a Linux kernel from MS-DOS by replacing it in memory and warm-booting it. However, simply installing Ubuntu or another distribution normally would be far easier than using Loadlin these days.

Can Windows 95 or Windows 98 run on a RISC processor?

No. Windows 95 and 98 are tied to MS-DOS, which is closely tied to both x86 processors and instruction sets, and the BIOS found in most PCs. Windows 95/98 were never ported to another processor, since doing so would necessitate a rewrite of the lower-level components, and would miss the entire point of Windows 9x, backwards-compatibility with legacy apps, altogether. Window NT runs directly on RISC processors such as the the PowerPC, the DEC Alpha, and the MIPS R4000. Windows CE also runs directly on RISC processors such as the MIPS, ARM, and Hitachi SuperH processors. Any version of Windows intended to run on an x86 processor could run inside an emulator such as Bochs, DOSBox, RealPC, Transformer for the Amiga, or some other x86 emulator.

Can you run Ubuntu on top of Windows?

There are a few methods you can use to run Ubuntu "on top of " Windows: 1. Virtual machines Virtual machines behave basically just like a real computer, except they run in a window. Running an operating system in one provides the best possible performance without dual-booting. Things like graphics acceleration will be extremely limited or non-existent, however. 2. Emulators Emulators like QEMU and Bochs can be used to run Ubntu on an emulated machine. This is much slower than a virtual machine, and is thus usually only useful for debugging or for running Ubuntu for a non-native platform, such as PowerPC or ARM. 3. Cooperative Linux (not recommended) Cooperative Linux runs a Linux kernel as a process on Windows. The reason I don't recommend this is because: A. It is more difficult to set up than the other methods. B. It is not supported by Canonical, and thus you cannot file bug reports. C. It will require installing several pieces of software (such as a terminal emulator and an X server). D. It has the potential for corrupting your Windows installation.

How do you boot Linux with Windows?

There are actually quite a few methods from which you could get a Linux system going from Windows. These are: 1. Use a virtual machine. A virtual machine allows you to run an operating system inside of a window on top of another system. This offers good performance for non-gaming applications, and is usually the most popular option. Programs to accomplish this include VirtualBox (free), VirtualPC (free, but refuses to work on certain editions of Windows), VMWare ($$$), and Parallels Workstation ($$$). 2. Use an emulator. Probably the slowest method. Bochs and QEMU can be used for this purpose. However, they are not very user friendly. Depending on your computer, the operating system will typically run at 1/3 to 1/2 of the expected speed. 3. Launch the program from DOS In Windows 95, 98, and possibly ME, you can use Loadlin. Loadlin is a program to launch Linux from DOS. what you would do is create a batch file to launch Loadlin with it's appropriate parameters, and tell Windows to exit to DOS to launch this program. 4. Use coLinux to run cooperatively with Windows. This is by far the strangest method, and not recommeded for new users. It uses a modified kernel that works with the Windows NT kernel to share resources. After it is launched, you have to use additional tools like PuTTy and Xming to launch applications. Worth trying, but due to other, easier methods existing, it's not the best option under most circumstances.
