lock
Critical Section.
A critical section is a piece of code that accesses a shared resource (either in the form of data structure or a device) that must not be concurrently accessed by more than one thread of execution (which will otherwise lock it from doing other things).Note: Note that on Windows NT (not 9x/ME), the function TryEnterCriticalSection() can be used to attempt to enter the critical section.
Just because you protect threads with critical sections does not mean the threads cannot be interrupted by the system. What it does mean is that, if the threads are correctly protected with the same critical section, the threads cannot interrupt each other. If this is not true, then your code is defective. Make sure the thread blocks when the critical section cannot be entered, and that it properly releases the critical section when it is done.
A semaphore is like a signal that can indicate the start and end of something called a critical section. The semaphore ensures that only 1 thread of code is allowed at a time in the code.
The Critical section problem occurs when the processors are in a Network. For eg consider that 3 processors share same database at a time, if one processor wants to update the database then no other process will get the access to that database. This point is called as critical section. Temporarily the connection between the other 2 system will be dropped.
Just a card which has a scratch away section where you reveal the redeemable code.
in an operating system, there may be a segment of code, which will be shared by many processes.but when two processes shares the code and if one updates the code while other reading it,there occurs a conflict.this is called critical section problem To avoid this problem a lock is created on that block of code which establishes that no new process can access that block until the first process release it after it's usage. Thus there would be no chance conflict b/w processes while reading that block simultaneously
In the menu, there is a section with a heart on it. Click on the heart, and your friend code should be in there.
Instead of about you, I am sure that you meant about me.? and find the code section. Then click onto "hide about me". They should give you a code. Copy that code by pressing Ctrl and C together, and then paste in "about me" section at the top. Paste it by pressing Ctrl and V together. Click save and you are done!!
should say in the inside of the box or in/on the manual
Generally if you want to repeat a section of code the best option is to define it as a method and call it when required. Then you can use it inside a loop which will repeat until a given change occurs.
