Bella (eventually) is a shield,
edward can reads minds,
Alice can see the future (subjectively),
jasper can control emotions.
they are the only vampires w/ REAL powers but....
rosalie doesn't have a power, but she's gorgeous, and even more beautiful than most vampires, which are already practically perfect. edward joking says that she brought her bigheadedness instead of a power.
finally, Emmett, although he doesn't have a power, is VERY strong.

∙ 12y agoThroughout the entirety of the Twilight saga, Edward Cullen has the same special ability and that is to hear the thoughts of people around him.
It is stated in the books that he can hear those people who he is familiar with more than those who he has just met. The only person (or vampire) who's thoughts Edward can never hear is Bella.
